VXi to Deploy Conexant’s Embedded Audio Solution for USB Headset

Conexant Systems, a supplier of semiconductor solutions for imaging, audio, embedded modem, and video surveillance applications, announced that its CX20562 speakers-on-a-chip audio solution was selected by VXi, a provider of headset solutions, for a new USB headset adapter.
VXi’s X200 adapter is targeted at computer-based voice communications applications that require voice and audio including Unified Communications (UC), VoIP telephony, and speech recognition. The adapter is available now from VXi’s global network of distributors and resellers.
“VXi develops telecommunications and speech recognition solutions, and we are encouraged they chose our audio solutions for their new X200 USB headset adapter,” said Phil Pompa, senior vice president of product marketing for Conexant. “We will continue to apply our expertise in digital signal processing algorithms to further improve sound clarity in audio and voice applications.”
VXi’s new X200 USB adapter features Conexant’s proprietary noise- reduction and wideband acoustic echo-cancellation technologies.
